He was predeceased by: his father Leonard; his wife Dean Kennedy (Staton); his son Jimmie Carl Jr.; and his pets, Buddy and Missy.
He is survived by: his close friend Joye Thompson of Wichita Falls; his daughters, Paula Moore (Rowdy) of Henrietta and Kathy Watson (Scott) of Nocona Hills; his grandchildren, Michelle Sutton, John Woods, Ryan and Maverick Moore; his pet Maggie; and his sister Evelyn Coleman. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
