He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin and Esther Althof, Sr.; and his siblings, Wilbert Althof, Raymond Althof, Clarence Althof and Elnora Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Ova (Kemper) of Henrietta; his son Edwin Russell Althof (Tamyra) of Tucson, Arizona; his stepchildren, Becky Baber (Bill) of Byers, Texas and Wyndel Culp (Deha) of Lamesa, Texas; his grandchildren, Hannah Althof, Emily Hunt (Cole), Jason Baber (Heather), Byron Baber (Kim), Tye Baber (Audra), Kylia Marshall (Andrew), Maggie Miller and Dallie Miller; and his sister Frances Hughes. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
