She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Newburn and Lura Lee Davis (Gilmore); her husband Dale Simpson; and her siblings, Albert, Frank George, Willie, Lewis, Lois Moore and Aline Akin.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Simpson (Jana), Paul Simpson (Connie) of Bastrop, Texas and Michele Berend (Brandon) of Halsell, Texas; her grandchildren, Heath Simpson, Chelsea Miller, Samantha Mendoza (Robbie), Sarah Simpson and Mitchell Berend; her great grandchild Rylie Mendoza (Reece Mendoza); and her siblings, Patsy Fuller (Gerald) of Wichita Falls and Doyle Davis (Mollie) of Henrietta.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (316 S Bridge St, Henrietta, TX 76365).
