She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Jones and Edna Rousseau Jones; her spouse D. J. Burks; her son-in-law Bruce Williams; her grandson Joshua Dobbins; her siblings, Nelda Pool and Aaron Jones; and her brothers-in-law, Odell Pool, Stanley Zimmerman, Jerry Stockholm and David Newton.
She is survived by: her children, David Burks (Dina), Lana Gay Dobbins (Jim) of Henderson and Terri Williams of Henderson; her sisters, Arlene Zimmerman Stockholm of Beaumont and Dottie Ramsey (Roger) of Henderson; her sister-in-law Kathy Jones of Nederland; and her grandsons, Davy Burks, Dalin Burks, Greg Steinbach, Jonathan Burks, Matthew Williams and Samuel Dobbins. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter, and number of nieces and nephews.
