He was predeceased by: his father Lalo Puente; and his siblings, Panchita Puente, Victor Puente and Enrique Puente. He is survived by: his wife Eva Perez of Henderson; his mother Silvestra Garcia of Mexico; his children, Maria Hilda (Alvaro Ortega) of Edinburg, Miguel Puente of Henderson, Raymundo Puente (Dolores Garcia) of Henderson, Yesenia Vazquez (Genaro) of Henderson, Lalo Puente (Ana) of Henderson, Esmeralda Puente (Jesus Vargas) of Henderson and Isamara Puente (Jose Arriaga) of Longview; and his siblings, Marcello Puente (Imelda) of Edinburg, Texas and Anastasia Puente (Monico) of Gainesville. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Hudgens Park (9696 FM 13, Henderson, TX 75654). A rosary was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Jude's Catholic Church (1100 Longview Dr, Henderson, TX 75652).
