It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha (Sippy) Morton (Henderson, Texas), who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Hallwood and Verna Kate Burton (Hays); her husbands, Ellis Albert "Hootsy" Cates and Edward Adams Morton; her daughter Martha Katherine Cates; and her sister Willadene Scogins.
She is survived by: her children, Cyndy Cates Broadus (Gary) of Longview and David Cates (Tonya) of Henderson; her grandchildren, Morgan Cates, Kyleigh Davis, Kristan Cates, Emma Morton, Shawn Broadus, Jason Broadus and Sarah Watkins; and her great grandchild Dawson Cates. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (3558 County Rd 368 E, Henderson, TX 75654). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
