He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Bowman and Bobbie Bowman; and his sister Sonia McClure. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his son Larry Chase Bowman (Akira); his grandchildren, Abbi, Cainon, Averi and Creed Bowman; and his brothers, Gary and Jason Bowman.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home (1414 S Main St, Henderson, TX 75654). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
