It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Young of Henderson, Texas, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Jim may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Young and Helen Young (Livers); and his brother Jess Young. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Young of Henderson; his sons, Shannon Young of Henderson and Gray Young (Jordan) of Henderson; his brother Ned Young (Linda) of Bonham; and his grandchildren, Peyton Young and Carter Young. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (207 W Main St, Henderson, TX 75652).
