With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Peter Renkema of Henderson, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Renkema and Lois DeYoung; his siblings, Wilma Rose Barnes and Bernard "Buddy" Renkema; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Dale Green and Donny Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Renkema of Henderson; his children, Patricia Smith (Jimmy) of Vidor, Penny Jones (Eddie) of Laird Hill, Jennifer Roe (Jason) of Liberty City, Heidi Bushnell of Hamshire, Samantha Dean (Adam) of Arvada, Colorado, Chris Renkema (Shelly) of Council Bluff, Tim Renkema (Michele) of Murray, Brian Renkema (Alma) of New London, Michael Brown (Lori) of Liberty City and Tommy Brown of Laird Hill; and his siblings, Henrietta Fabriguze of Hamshire, Texas and Fredrick Renkema of Hamshire. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
