Though Betty has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond McGehee and Florence McGehee (Simmons); her husband Leath Rankine; her sons, Sidney, Ronny and Benny Ray King; her siblings, Mary Sue Contine, Jesse Ray McGehee and Larry McGehee; and her grandson Steven King. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Old City Cemetery.
