He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Thelma Robertson Sr.; and his brother Gerald Robertson. He is survived by: his wife Kattie Lou Robertson; his children, Leslie Ray Robertson (Glendina), Thelma Marie Martin (Bobby), Linda Sue Mizell (James), Katherine Ann Eckermann (David) and Rebecca Lynn Tillery; and his siblings, Lois Rafferty, Carol Anita Howard (J. T.) and Wilber Robertson. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
