He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mozelle Pinson and Dr. Howard Sturkie; his wife Janice Sturkie; and his siblings, Kay Turner of Kilgore, Dr. Gary Angell of Bryan, Steve Angell of Houston, Tammy Thompson of Whitesboro and Linda Bolton. He was also cherished by numerous sister and brother-in-laws.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
