She is survived by: her children, John Steven Sheffield (Jody), Deborah Raye Latham (Dale) and Teresa Sheffield Rogers (Edward); her son-in-law Captain Robert Thompson; her sisters, Mildred Waters and Thelma Curry (Ralph); and her grandchildren, Shannon McGinn (Michael), Jennifer Crew (Paxton), Julie Dykes (Andrew), Amanda Jomarron (Daniel), Kelley Land (Cory), Kimberly Meyer (Derrick) and Kasey Dean (Steven). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
