He was predeceased by: his former wife Janice Marie Bludworth of Leakey, TX; his sisters, Carolyn Herrera and Patsy Bludworth; his grandchildren, Joshua Van Leuven, Jeremy Van Leuven, Steven Long and Misti Hicks; and his parents, Jay Leonard Bludworth, Jr. of Houston, TX. and Georgia Leonard.
He is survived by: his brother John Bludworth (Karla) of Hockley, TX; his children, Lenore Long (Michael) of El Lago, David Bludworth, Donald Bludworth of Leakey, TX, Susan Roberts of Aransas Pass, TX, Lisa Hartley (Michael) of Cleveland, TX, Alexandra Anderson of Rolesville, NC and Mandy Anderson of College Station, TX.; and his wife Janice Marie Lorance. He is also survived by his sixteen grandchildren; his twenty-three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the American Cancer Society.
