He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Clendennen Coppedge; his daughter Lisa; his father William Joseph Coppedge; and his sister Ann Collier. He is survived by: his wife Merrilyn Coppedge; his children, William Joel "Bill" Coppedge (Cathie), Laurie Ann Patton (Paul Thiem) and Steven Daniel Coppedge (Laura); and his pets, Barney and Max. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
