He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Procell Barcheers and Aubrey "Buck" Barcheers; and his brother Joe. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Barcheers; his daughters, Alicia Woodard and Stacey Brown; his sons-in-law, Josh and Simon; his siblings, Marty Barcheers, Linda Ray and Jackie Sage; his stepsons, Kerry Bryan (Laurie) and Korey Byrd (Hailley); and his grandchildren, Preston Barcheers, Alexandra Brown, Kailah Bryan, Alexis Bryd, Dhalton Rhodes, Aubrie Bryd and Tinsley Bryd.
