He was predeceased by: his parents, G. W. Wilson (Florine Greene Wilson) and Virgil. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wilson; his children, Dean Wilson of Orange, Vance Wilson (Rachel) of Orange, Jason Lingo (Lisa) of Montgomery, LaDeana Aven of Orange and Vicki Sheppard (Gary) of Bronson; and his sister Georgia Wyatt of Orange. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fairdale Baptist Church (4820 Fairdale Rd, Hemphill, TX 75948). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Mt. Sinai Cemetery (4820 Fairdale Rd, Hemphill, TX 75948).
