He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Kathleen Gumm of Hemphill, Texas; his son Joel Raymond Gumm of Hemphill, Texas; his grandchildren, Derek Gumm, Jordan Gumm, Ashley Stephens, Dasia Phillips, Marsha Gumm and Joel Gumm, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Brenna Stephens, Greyson Stephens, Colston Gumm, Ryker Gumm, Kaylah Phillips, Ezrie Phillips, Peyton Kovach, Everitt Kovach, Addy Kovach and Mac Kovach.
