He is survived by: his children, Chris Rhame (Machelle) of Rosevine and Veronica "Nikki" Simmons (Mark) of Hemphill; his siblings, Tim Rhame (Catrina) of Brookeland, Gene Rhame of Dayton and Maxine Rhame Hollenbeck (Mike) of Beaumont; his sisters-in-law, Willie Ann Rhame of Dayton and Ethel Rhame of San Antonio; his brother T. J. Tullas; his grandchildren, Lindsey Nichols of Hemphill, Dalton Eidson of Bon Wier, Chassidy Simmons of Hemphill, Carissa Simmons of Hemphill, Sydney, Kurt Perry of Nacogdoches, Ashlie of West Monroe, John Sims of West Monroe, Tiffany of West Monroe and Jake Mathers of West Monroe; and his great grandchildren, Matthew Bartlett, Lexi Bartlett, Arlin Eidson, Bethany Nichols, Jennifer Nichols, Easton Nichols, Joseph Mathers and Merideth Mathers.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Starr Funeral Home Chapel (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at the Davis Cemetery.
