She was predeceased by: her parents, O. D. Jacks and Merline Chance Jacks; the father of her children S. R. Smith; her husband Harold Pond; her son Mikeal Smith; and her siblings, Willie Moran and Myrl Ruth Dollar.
She is survived by: her children, David Smith of Bronson, Brenda O'Quinn of Town Bluff, TX and Eunice Mae Spain of Arizona; her brother Donald Ray Moran (Mattie) of Vidor; and her grandchildren, Renee Moye, Tanya Johnson (Daniel), Roy Pond and Krystal Wartberg (Mick). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
