She was predeceased by: her parents, Duard Riley Thompson and Bertha Pauline Mann Thompson; her husband Shepherd Matthew Pinney, Sr.; and her sister Carolyn Bruce. She is survived by: her children, Shepherd Matthew Pinney, Jr. (Stephanie) of Bossier City, LA, Michelle Ammerman (Kent) of Kannapolis, NC and Melissa Tyson (Wade) of Hemphill; and her sister Patsy Donaldson (James) of Kingsport, TN. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends.
