It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcel Harper of Hemphill, Texas, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Harris and Julia Stowell Harris; her husband Atrell Harper; and her sister Juanita Gardner. She is survived by: her children, Lonnett Bonnette (Clifford) of Beaumont, Butch Harper (Joan) of Hemphill, Lynn Harper (Mary Jo) of Beaumont and Lanis Harper (Vickie) of Beaumont; and her sister Geneva of Florida. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Starr Funeral Home Chapel (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Harper Chapel Cemetery (211 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948).
