Lynn Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynn Smith of Hemphill, Texas, who passed away on February 24, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred D. Smith and Laverne Clark Smith; and his sister Lanell Smith. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Smith of Fairmount; his children, Steve R. Smith of Fairmount, Cindy Box (David) of Huntington and Sheila Cowee (David) of Douglass; his siblings, Tommy R. Smith (Belinda) of Lufkin and Glynda "Guinnie" Smith of Jasper; and his grandchildren, Laura, Allison, Mariah, Danielle and Eli. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
It is his family's request, that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions instead be made to East Mayfield Baptist Church.
