He was predeceased by: his father Willie J. Dekerlegand; his wife Kathy Dekerlegand; and his brother Daniel Dekerlegand. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Webb of Batson, TX, Rachel James of Sealy, TX, John Dekerlegand of Batson, TX and David Dekerlegand of Fort Polk, LA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
