He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilburn Shook and Jesse Mae Langan Shook; and his son Joseph Preston Shook. He is survived by : his daughter Samantha June Burrow (Morgan) of Bronson; his siblings, Mike Shook of Bartlesville, OK and Deborah Shook-Hippler (Randy) of Livingston; and his grandchildren, Anna Dover, Kyle Burrow, Kolyn Burrow, Madison Turnage, Braedyn Burrow, Lucas Burrow and Paxton Burrow. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
