It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Boyett of Hemphill, Texas, born in Milam, Texas, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Boyett and Fannie Gray Boyett; his wife Wanda Nance Boyett of Hemphill; his daughter Nena Chance (Glenn) of Hemphill; his sister Iva Dell Doggett of Center; his grandchildren, Kyle Knopp and Ashton Daffron; and his great grandchildren, Shane, Logan, Daxton, Hagan, Kahlyn and Savannah.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations instead be made to in Jimmie's memory to Legacies Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hemphill.
