She was predeceased by: her parents, Green Hamilton, Sr. and Rosa Johnson Hamilton; her brothers, Simon, Lenzy, Miles, Lenon, Green, Jr., Lemon and Herbert Hoover; her husband Leamon McCowan; and her stepdaughter Louvern Moore Simms.
She is survived by: her siblings, Arma G., Hettie Solomon, Verline Thomas Davis, Elvie Sneed and Mary Bass; and her stepdaughter Geraldine McCowan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members, church members and friends.
