He is survived by: his parents, George Young and Janette Elliott Young of Hemphill, Texas.; his wife Elizabeth Corum Young; his son Elliott Young of Lufkin; his sister Krista (Eduardo Garcia); his nieces, Olivia, Sofia and Eva Garci of Barcelona, Spain.; and his aunts and uncles, Welden (Rita Elliott), Carol (David Rose), John (Lorraine Young) and Don Young of Harlingen.
