He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Procella and Marcelena Parrie Procella; his wife Eulene Procella; his son Joe Procella; his son-in-law Robert Hough; and his brothers, Henry Procella, Rayford Procella, Glendale Procella, Ernest Procella, Otis Paul Procella and Billy Brad Lankford.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Hough of Nacogdoches and Debbie Williams (Marty) of Brazoria; his daughter-in-law Vickey Procella of Hemphill; and his grandchildren, Rob Hough (Rebecca), Bryan Hough (Katie), Eric Procella (Lana), Andrea Procella Heslip (Eric), Holly Soderman (Sam) and Marci Reyes (Jason). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Starr Funeral Home Chapel (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A rosary was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
