He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Harden and Ernest Harden; his significant other Kathleen Ryan; and his grandparents, Steve, Zella Harden, Jesse and Minnie Brown.

He is survived by: his sister Debra Harden Rue (Carroll Rue); and his nephew Buckley Harden Rue. He is also survived by cousins from both sides of his family and friends.
