With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene Cothron of Hemphill, Texas, who passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Louis Antonini and Mary Frances Young Antonini; her sister Denise Huckman; her brother-in-law Lannie Emfinger; and her niece Stacey Emfinger Cream.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Cothron of Hemphill; her children, Shawn Curry (Cristy) of Barbers Hill, Shane Curry of Crosby, Randy Cothron, Jr. (Jenny) of Crosby and Rhonda Hutto of Cold Springs; her stepfather John Quintanilla; her sister Tina Emfinger of Highlands; her brother-in-law Mike Huckman (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Amber Hensarling, Valaree Provazek (Wesley), Denton Curry (Shanna), Heather Curry, Hunter Curry (Emery), Cody Currie, Gracelynn Curry (Curry), Braelynn Curry, Lily Cothron, Kira Cothron, Bailey McDonald (Hunter), Kyleigh Curry and Khloe Curry; and her great grandchildren, Calvin, Preston, Jaxon, Dillon, Tate and Ezra.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Starr Funeral Home Chapel (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at the Harper Chapel Cemetery.
