He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Wright and Mary Wright; his wife June Evon Wright; and his children, Linda Ponder, Cecil West and Larry West.
He is survived by: his children, Danny West (Tammie) of Hemphill, Randy West of Bronson, Donna Brasher (Jamie) of Pineland and Judy Brown of Brookeland. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starr Funeral Home (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Starr Funeral Home Chapel (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Rosevine Cemetery (2869 FM3229, Bronson, TX 75930).
