She was predeceased by: her parents, William Menge and Ophilia Thibodaux Menge. She is survived by: her husband Bernard Smith of Hemphill; her children, Joel Bye (Gwen) of Baton Rouge, Melody Callegan of Lake Charles and Wendy Hebert (Kenneth) of Alvarado, TX; and her siblings, William Menge of Thiobdaux, Lionel Menge of Houma, LA and Vickie Danos of Raceland, LA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
