Though Luz may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Yoly Moy, Naida Battad (Venie Battad), Nancy Martinez, Butchoy Mate, Bambie Genco (Vinny Genco), Ricky Mate, Tikoy Mate, Bong-Bong Mate, Chinky Tibe (Concon Tibe) and Sarah Lopez (Henry Lopez).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castle Ridge Mortuary N (10901 W. Loop 1604 North, San Antonio, TX 78023). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. Viewing will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (13715 Riggs Rd, San Antonio, TX 78023). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
