She was predeceased by: her parents, Arturo Benavides and Alicia Saliz Benavides; her sister Sanjana Gonzalez; and her great grandchild Joshua Olivares, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Pablo Capetillo; her daughters, Denise Cruz and Tricia Capetillo; her grandchildren, Alexus Capetillo, Stephanie Gomez, Paul Gomez and Ruben Salazar; and her siblings, Alicia Vela, Emma Rodriguez, Diana Benavides, Arturo Benavides and Rene Benavides. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
