He was predeceased by: his father Rafael Gomez. He is survived by: his mother Maria Elida Gomez; his brothers, Rafael Gomez (Teresa) and Juan Jose Gomez (Iris); his nephew Juan Jr.; and his nieces, Liana and Sarah. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
