It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Lee Cavitt Sr. of Hearne, Texas, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Cavitt and Irene Cashaw; his wife Bernice Cavitt; his son Glen Cavitt; and his siblings, Leon Cavitt, William Cavitt, David Cavitt, Hazel Cavitt Gordon and Doris Cavitt Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Murray (Dwight) of Missouri City, TX, Regina Price (Adolph) of Hearne, TX., Floyd Cavitt, Jr. (Debra) of Missouri City, TX and Kenneth Cavitt of Mansfield, TX.; and his grandchildren, Roderick Stewart, Wesley Bynum, Exchelcia Green, Jheri Cavitt, Ceril Cavitt, Khristopher Cavitt, Tiara Price and Justine Price. He is also survived by Nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
