He was predeceased by: his sisters, Myrtle Nix, Waldean McKneely and Mary Griggs. He is survived by: his wife Artrella Anne Griggs of Hawley, TX; his children, Joe Griggs (Cevellia) of Merkel, TX, Cynthia Ross of Fort Worth, TX and Teresa Demory (Mike) of Pierre; and his brother Carl Griggs (Nancy) of Stamford, TX. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
