He was predeceased by: his parents, Malvin Dokey and Della Dokey (Green); his wife Laverl Dokey; his siblings, Joyce Bransom, Ruby Archer and Lilburn Dokey; his children, Thresa Dokey, Ruby Tyler and Arthur Dokey; and his grandson Matthew Paul Dokey.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy (Jan) of Hawley, Lisa Dokey (Donna Knapp) of Hawley and Michael Dokey (Tina Wellmaker) of Merkel; and his sisters, Ida James and Ada Teubner. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, along with numerous other family members.
