He was predeceased by: his parents, Artur Willi Ludwig Koehn and Ilse Berta Marie Koehn (Heidenreich); and his brother Wolfgang Köhn. He is survived by: his wife Gisela Koehn; his sons, Olaf Koehn, Perry Klaus Koehn (Debbie) and Ronny Koehn (Genienne); his brother Juergen A. Koehn; and his grandsons, Joshua Koehn, Jacob Koehn (Katelyn) and Carson Koehn (Robin).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
