He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Schmidt; his brother Eddie; and his uncle Rex. He is survived by: his father Jerry Allen Schmidt (Jana Rogers) of Hawley, TX; his children, Cody and Laci; and his stepdaughters, Brandy, Rachel, Emmalee and Jessie. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
