He was predeceased by: his parents, David Styers and Bertie Black Styers; his brothers, William Erb and Eugene Styers; and his daughter Sandra Lynette Styers.

He is survived by: his children, Vic Styers, Brenda Kala of Henderson, TX, Charles Moreland of White Oak, TX and Donnie Parsons of Henderson, TX. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
