She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Steele Thames and Adele Thames (Meyer); her husband William; her daughter Jana Smith; her grandson Robert Lenn Smith; her children, Jeff Elder (Kasi) of Decatur, Susan Craven of Decatur, Jayne Sherman (Randy) of Decatur and Jean Gillespie of Whitesboro; her son-in-law Robert "Bob" E. Smith of Alvord; and her siblings, Robert Thames of Bolivia, Mary Ruth Creamer of Auburn, MA and Shirley Banks (Dean) of Yuba City, CA. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
