She was predeceased by: her husband Philip Eakes; her parents, Henry Schumaker and Minnie Schumaker; and her siblings, Agnes Marie, Betty Lou, Gerald Julius, Francis Omar, Glen Joseph and Mary Rita.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Eakes (Keith Pickens) of San Antonio, Mary Danner (Randy) and Michael Patrick Eakes of Phoenix, Arizona; her grandchildren, Amber Danner-Kirk (Curtis) of Tyler, Ashley Danner (Marcus Lillie) of Arlington, Alisha Groves (Kevin), Ellery Pickens and Alana Pickens of San Antonio; and her great grandchildren, Chancelor, Aubrie, Barron, Milo, Jameson and Jonathan.
