He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Sharon Camp; his wife Sharon Clifton; his daughters, Melinda Clifton Bedsole (Clayne) and Catherine Clifton (Brian Moersch); his brother Robert L. Clifton (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Elijah Richard Moersch, Tawny Wyatt (Jonathan), Brandon Bedsole (Jessica), Tra Bedsole, Amber Moersch and Joshua Moersch; and his great grandchildren, Luke Rylan Wyatt, Austin Wyatt, Karsyn Bedsole and Ashton Moersch.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Children's Home in Waco, Texas.
