He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman "Cowboy" Redd and Patsy Redd; his siblings, Buster Redd and Peggy DuCote; his grandson Logan Carroll; his wife Brenda Harris Redd; his daughters, Angie Carroll, Amy Redd and Tandra Whisler; his grandchildren, Ashley Collins, Madeline Whisler, Lauren Whisler and Katherine Whisler; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn Jane, Nora Grace and Melody Marie.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Wanda Redd; his nieces, Misty, Natalie and Charity; and his nephew Sherman.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Damascus Baptist Church (6390 Fm, Corrigan, TX 75939).
