She was predeceased by: her parents, Melton Ellis and Virginia Hoskins Ellis; and her sisters, Mary Seiler, Maxine Downey and Bettye Bretzke.

She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Lee Harding; and her sisters, Vadys Ross and Barbara Hunter.
