He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavern Smith and Betty Lou Haberling Smith; and his grandparents, Joseph, Loul Haberling, Kenneth Smith and Ona May Merrill.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth French Sr. (Teresa) of Victoria, Lois French Triebenbach (Terry) of Big Sandy, Tony French of Gladewater, Thomas Smith of Lawton and Julia Smith of Hawkins; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly French Hodge (Alan), Kenneth French Jr. (Ashley), Kristy French Kirkland (Sebie), Jhermy French, Autumn French, Jastin Baker (Hannah), Jordan Baker and Brystol Smith.
