He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl T. Cox Sr. and Beulah (Brown); his former wife Pauline Davis; his wife Pauline Cox of Paradise; his sons, Neal C. Cox and Jerry (Betsy Cox) of Paradise; his grandsons, Chad Cox (Nikki) of Paradise, Clint Cox (Brittney) of McKinney and Cyle Cox of Benbrook; and his great grandchildren, Alison, Alan, Colton and Clayton.
