He is survived by: his wife Della Godfrey of Haslet; his children, Ivy Barcus (Richard) of Burleson, Sarah Tacker of Haslet, Tamara Dolliver (Toma) of Burleson and Edward Wayne Godfrey Jr. of Lincoln City; his grandchildren, Patrick McHenry, Robert Barcus, Joseph Godfrey, Becky Godfrey, Tracy Davis, Dee Lunsford, Shanaine Morgan, Sara Godfrey, Chris Watkins and Jonathan Godfrey; and his sister Julia K. Seaton (James) of Fort Worth.
